It was my favorite thing from the sale I could use. It’s such a genius move because until the chat to threads idea people were being swayed towards discord chats and this is basically that so you can keep your peeps on the forum for live shows.

The thing I love about this forum is I started a forum in late 2010 between WS in early 2010 and WWE Forums in 2011. All pretty close to the same time and now all that history is under one roof and while I bought WS and WWEF, I was owner of the third one and never closed it and it’s still part of this place too. So I’ve technically been here from the start.

Yes, IWF was also this forum, too. The only reason we don’t use its creation date is I can’t find a concrete timeline for when it was founded. Sometime in 2000s, though.

Yeah I actually bought a sports forum last month that is still running vB 3.8, been trying to talk them into letting me move the site to XF (without ruffling feathers)

Even though I’ve been using XenForo for a really long time if I’m being honest with you if I still had a forum that ran on 3.8 and it didn’t have problems I probably wouldn’t want to move it either. I actually really love 3.8.

There’s something about the uniqueness of pre-vB4 software that was lost in vB4 and XF.

I’ve never tried vB5, but I didn’t care for the demos.
