we owned a few VHS that i think we got at like Burger King for some reason that had random episodes on it and my mom would put that on tv and I would zone out to it.

TMNT had their sponsor game maxed out. They had VHS at Burger King and you could get their concert cassette tapes at Pizza Hut

The comic at the time was much darker and serious and they thought kids would really enjoy it, they were right
