RR and EC make sense because it's every man for himself and it's usually for a title shot so it's like lets do qualifyers for this to see who goes in.

but this big group matches kinda suck cuz its like oh i guess everyone starts randomly working as a group for a few weeks just to get the ppv in and then all go about your business afterwards like it basically didn't happen.

leave gimmick matches like that for actual feuds. either that or have it be a yearly Smackdown Vs Raw match where each brand has wrestlers trying to qualify to get into the match to support their show.

like the winning team gets put into a Fatal 5 Way and the winner of that gets a title shot on their show or something.
