indeed, I thought he had great promos and mostly good to excellent matches

Punk is a deeply flawed individual, but thankfully for me I learned a long time ago to separate that from the performance.

he had inarguably one of the best feuds in AEW history (vs MJF) as well. his only tarnished legacy in the ring was not defending his title due to multiple injuries, which sucks but neither were his fault

it is what makes this such a buzzkill, when he was on AEW TV he was great. its just that when the lights turned off he could not behave himself for whatever reason

it certainly felt very organic and MJF was aces in theat feud so obviously that helped
