i wonder if writers realize if actors took a small % from the pool, there would be more money available

it's not about money. Studios want to film someone once and use AI to artificially put them in everything for all time without consent or additional pay.

everyone deserve proper wages and proper work conditions and not be exploited, doesnt matter what the job is

Writers strike woulda died within months if actors didn't join, the execs already said they were just waiting until they couldn't afford their apartments anymore and came running back

not to mention studios are refusing and hiding metrics to keep wages down so they dont have to admit how popular or not a show it on stream. theres a lot of bullshit and greed
