And to further expand on this, it's also hilarious to miss the point completely that nobody gave it any socks in trying to pull off another major wrestling company when, no... TNA did it, and despite not having any good marketing department, had a magnificent roster for a period of 6 years. Spike TV was also a great TV deal and TNA continually got over 1m viewers. They just couldn't pull in a live audience.

Nobody wanted to deal with Wrestling after 2001 because it became fucking volatile and any talent that got big was likely just gonna be scalped by WWE anyways. Why deal with that shit? Especially after ECW grifted the fuck out of people and WCW's last year and a half was a trainwreck.
