Since I got rid of social media all together, especially after somebody hacked my account last year and the fact I have no friends on my contacts, that's gonna be tough.

Some apartments let you contact other people that have put in interest that need roommates too btw

be careful, but might just have to put something up at some community board or something about looking for roommates to find a place to live. Just be careful with who you get. Could be risky but you could find good folks

I came out of that pretty ok.

Which is great, but let's be honest here, the amount of people who do is excruciatingly low. It's not a situation where "making an effort" automatically means success. Far from it, tbh... otherwise the whole problem with homelessness would be on a way, way smaller scale.

I've had 4 random roommates before, one was cool af, one was kinda weird but kept to himself and was cool when he didn't, one was very social, kinda annoying but a nice dude, the other fucking sucked but he stayed in his room. All in all it was fine
