It's a shame because I thought his death in The End of Time was one of the best things they ever did to the character.

I won't be surprised though if Doctor Who continues to take a nose dive in viewership from now on though.

The Chibnall era was an unmitigated disaster and I just don't see how they'll dig themselves out for the next while.

They need to do something different in this new era. If it continues to suck, that will be the end

It sucks because Jodie was such a good Doctor

Was she though? Literally nothing against Jodie, but her Doctor was fucking awful.

She just had horrible writing. Like Peter Capaldi. He is my favorite Doctor but his writing sucked

I thought her acting was good. It was an homage to Robin Williams. She did a good job against the horrible writing

It tries so hard to be a mix of 10th and 11th's personality traits, but her whole character boiled down to, "Wow, stuff is happening! Why is it happening? You there, villain, tell me your grand plan while you have me trapped"

Is that her fault or the fault of the writers? I think she killed it in several episodes but I couldn't get into the story

The 10th Doctor was curious too, but he was also introspective and tended to be on the up and up as far as stuff happening. The 11th was quirky and good-natured but he also was vindictive and sometimes chose the violent option.
