I thought his personality shift made a lot of sense. More experienced and has seen it all pretty much.

I won't argue with that, I still love the shit out of 4 tho. 5 is fun in co-op.

RE4 was very action orientated, but still a lot of parts I found super tense. Not scary as such, but yeah got my heart racing.

Without 4 RE as an IP is totally dead, its popularity saved the franchise, but it totally destroyed the lore and inserted a bunch of nonsense that further complicated a rather simple story of a pharmaceutical company playing God and learning that God doesn't play nice.
