not necessarily, we had cons in during most of the obama administration and often has nothing to do with the other. the liberals being in power for this long is more a factor of a swtich up than the american politics tbh

political parties tend to have a shelflife in canadian politics as well. no party generally stays in power for longer than a decade at a time, which isnt very long since some of those are minority govs

I don't see how conservatives don't get elected. High ass gas prices, inflation out the ass (just like everywhere) and Biden hasn't been that good of a President to be fair.
