Since I never experienced northern winter, I just go off what people who have experienced both says is all. It all depends on how some people feel, and maybe it can be also your body changes when you live some place for awhile and things also

I know the first few winters my cousins were here. Winter didn’t bother them, and now it does and they hate it more(minus the fact now they don’t get snow)
