Like the big thing was people thought we could "take control of our borders and make our own laws" and that this would make us THRIVE. Whats happened? Shortages of just about everything, skyrocketing prices and phone carriers are bringing back roaming charges

Hell all that IA happening in the USA and we ain't got control of our border either

Yeah Im not massively read up on it, but it always seemed like a bad idea to me and i never really heard a convincing argument otherwise. Im aware the EU does overstep its authority sometimes but a lot of the time it is for the best lol. Like our cell phone carriers had to by law make it free to use your data in other EU countries. That was an EU law that they now dont have to abide by. Very annoying. Even more so for me because Im on the isle of man and just stick to a UK carrier because their deals are way better and i was almost fucked by it lmao

but then i dont really understand why so many people are against welfare and the like though so personally im not entirely sure why people that aren't rich or at least upper middle class would vote right anyways but there we are

Because its "taking advantage" of the system. For example, there are 1.8 Million unemployed folks. You know why? Stimulus checks. I'm not working because of something else. But 90% of these people are sitting at home doing nothing but collecting checks from the government. This is even WORSE in California. All those homeless? Same. Some are having mental issues, some are drug addicts, and some are working the system. Focus on the third part. They're bleeding U.S. dry, and not realizing it.

Another example: EDD is being ripped off. The prisons in California are taking advantage of the EDD process, and are spreading this information. Brazen.
