That's why when I'm giving feedback here, I usually try to focus on a promo feeling "complete" rather than being long or short.

Takes time. Besides length of a promo =/= it being good. Sometimes a promo being too long can hurt. This is both from experience where I lost due to a long promo, and others lost due to their promos just being too long.
