This is quite accurate. A lot of PowerPoint slides. I feel like a lot of my graphic design was self taught before I even took the classes, so it helped to have that extra edge.

Yeah I didn't pay for like anything out of pocket except for textbooks tho and the biggest of the loans is next to no interest so it isn't quite as bad

Also I've made ZERO payments bc as soon as i was supposed to start on them, it was paused for COVID lol they aren't starting back up until the end of January

Kinda funny how I did those College classes, and I ended up just working an entirely different job because I just needed one. Happens to a lot of people though.

I sold shoes for like 6 months after I graduated with a masters in accounting bc everyone said I either needed more experience or was overqualified so it was quite difficult to get that experience

And they didn't even wanna hire me bc they were like "well we know this isn't a long term prospect for you with your education" bruh

That is what annoys me about many jobs. Your 'overqualified' or 'need more experience' but nobody will give you a job to get that experience.

I asked one accounting firm what they'd recommend for experience when they told me that and they were like "have you looked into relocating to Dallas or Houston?" Like bitch have you looked at rent in Dallas or Houston lmao
