Tbh that was really all that Roosevelt could do to win the election again. He had to wait until he switched the public opinion towards pro war. Luckily the Japanese helped tremendously

Yeah I actually just watched The Great Dictatator a few weeks ago which is a Chaplin film about the war made in 1941 and like the concentration camps are obviously not common knowledge yet but just the fact that THAT much shit was known so early that a movie was made about it was crazy
