Problem with buying a car now is it'll be worthless once self driving cars become more prominent

I don't expect to see electric or self driving cars to become prominent where I live in my lifetime.

I mean it depends on what you are talking about. People have new cars and trucks and such here.

But as far as internet and cell signal? YES!

what about hybrids?

But there is very little in the way of support for electric cars here. I know of 2 places to charge an electric car in 60 miles of where I live. I know nobody who owns a full electric.

Yeah there are hybrids around. Those little Toyota whatever they are.

Would I ever own a hybrid or full electric? No. Because the repairs are astronomical.

Also, same reason I won't use a MAC computer or an android phone. I don't like change and I am used to one thing.
