Nah guy couldn't cut a promo for a long time.

I thought we were talking about personality not promo ability, but even so, again, Vince didn’t want that. When Diesel turns heel and cuts that worked shoot on Vince about Vince turning him into the corporate puppet, that promo was fire and he took that into WCW and was a top tier promo the whole time down there.
