I had someone hit my car parked in my apartment parking lot a few years back and it was in the shop for a week getting repaired. I got a loaner instantly and was never without a vehicle. they even picked me up from the repair shop and took me to the rental place to fill out the paperwork.

Because unless you're a car dealer, you don't need more than three cars. One for your main, one for backup, and a winter vehicle.
