I prefer them to be but I've actually seen some where they tag in and out

I Guess if it was a pin or submit only Cage match then only the legal men would be eligible for the fall even if DQs for not tagging weren't a thing, theoretically

Tag Team cage matches are hit and miss for me too tbh, some are straight bangers but others try and be too cute with the escape shit. I'd def prefer them to be pin or submit only but I've seen the escape stip used well before so there's exceptions
