I did put my laptop on our Malwarebytes cloud account though bc we have extra seats and it detects shit every time I torrent lmao kinda has me worried

Yeah, I guess I should say I do have Windows Defender but that's built in.

I have a program called CCleaner but I don't think it detects viruses

My computer does a monthly windows support scan or something that does this I think, checks for driver updates too

I pretty much only use it if I uninstall a program, it deletes a lot of the left behind files.

On my laptop I always check for updates. it's just a quirk I have.

Like on my moms phone and computer she lets updates just build up so when she finally does it the thing takes forever. I actually go into my phone and search for updates to keep it up to doate.

I think it's just habit from working at a cell phone store. One of the first things they always told us to do was make sure the persons apps and phone were all updated.

you'd be surprised how many times that fixed the issue.
