Anyone here track Earthquakes? There have been an increase in them lately. Two M6 (one being a 6.9) earlier in the Pacific areas.

Only really pay attention to them when they unnaturally occur in East Texas and shake my house

There has been a lot of activity lately. Some scientists are saying its because of the asteroids that are passing by Earth this week. Must be pulling at our plates.

Or.... it could be the Crust Displacement Theory coming to reality.

Would asteroids have enough of a pull to move our plates like that? I could buy it but off the top of my head I wouldn't thinkso

It is possible. Depends on the size and the material its made out of.

Its interesting that there have been a lot of smaller quakes in the pacific area too. Mainly 2-3 size though. The imagery I've been looking at as shown that Magma is just 600 ft below the surface in some areas. Crazy stuff
