Other fun mechanics from FC2 include weapon degradation and roaming militia soldiers in jeeps who will try to fuck you up if you drive on the roads for more than 2 minutes.

The sound the jeeps make when they see you and speed up is genuinely scary.

Feel like that last part is a staple in Farcry. In both 4 and 5 you couldn't drive long without some militia to kill.
