TBH I consider ballad of Lacey kind of part of the angle because it's what lead to AOTF.

And the fact that they built it on their fuckin' forums before the debut always makes me appreciate it more, that's such a fuckin' mid 2000s thing to do

ROH fucked with the forums fans so hard with that shit. That's honesty a great tool to draw the fans in.

I guess prelude would be a better word than prequel but y'all know what I mean

Especially bc 90% of their fans were the kind to be on the forums anyway

It does suck that the full debut got cut from the PPV broadcast though bc it was "too graphic" I mean it was just some guys hanging upside down with their blood dripping on a dude talking

That was one of the thigns that made Gabe and Praziak standout. They actually made their own fan forums and used them. ROH/Shimmer/FIP, etc.

I remember that, I was on the ROH forums at that time... that was a fun time period

I was like 11 so I hadn't joined any forums yet and only knew ROH existed bc Matt Hardy told me to watch it in '05 when he attacked Edge on Raw
