to be fair to autocorrect, I think it does more good than bad, it's just we notice the bad shit more than when it fixes our regular typos...which is my case is a lot

Auto is useful AF because it allows me to be lazy and type fast, but man can it make me look stupid when it changes the wrong things.

I just hate when people only focus on the negatives for things that are better than what they were before, autocorrect is just a minor example of that

I will say I prefer predictive text and spellcheck on computers to auto correct on phones. It's harder to change to the wrong things when I have to actively fix what it tells me is wrong than when it does it for me.

The only phone I had that had a legit keyboard before I got ones with touchscreens was so small, it was hard af to type the right things

I can type fast af on a computer, so I always prefer that to anything on a phone
