I think anything from 1988 onwards is WCW, pre-1988 is JCP.

Turner bought JCP and renamed it WCW. I never understood people trying to reclassify it. There's a reason WCW used all of JCP's events in 1988 and forward. Same company.

Also JCP produced everything under an NWA banner and the NWA is clearly a separate promotion than WCW so that's where a lot of confusion comes in
