Basically we have a corrupt person in a position of power and the City Council buries their head in the sand because they refuse to admit they were wrong twice in a row (the last City Manager was caught fucking one of the City Council in an affair).

It's even worse because it's adversely affecting my family since my own mother is the manager of the EMS. Since she's no longer paid for overtime, she's no longer doing CPR classes, First Aid classes, nor any additional help for the city since she won't be compensated for it. For reference, she'd been doing these classes as a member of the community for over 30 years.
