Yep that's me. Been thinking about doing a really long hiatus from the internet lately but not sure how I'd fair. Always been curious about the idea of doing a 30 day challenge. It would be hard without Netflix & YouTube, but I feel like it would get me reading and cooking more. Maybe?
I think the weird thing would be the isolation I guess. The internet is almost a necessity sometimes, for emails and everything but it's also refreshing in a way.
I really want to give it a try. I still have a bunch of DVD's and Blu-Rays I haven't opened, as much as I like Netflix, going the old fashioned way would be nice.
Tbh I don't see much of a difference in how you're consuming media but I've heard convincing arguments why having a tangible disk is better than streaming for various reasons. For video games as well
Well a streaming service isn't always guaranteed to have a movie you've been wanting to watch as things can removed and also the quality and bonus features of Blu Ray discs. Sometimes it's just nice to not rely on the internet I guess. Occasionally I've had my internet drop in the middle of a Netflix film. That sucks.
