I just laugh at people that let shit like that cause them to not enjoy something entertaining, same thing with the people boycotting Solo bc they thought it was gonna be feminist propaganda when it was a solid af movie

I never heard that about Solo, but I also heard the film was trash, though. I haven't seen it yet. I will eventually.

Oh man that's another thing too, I hear so much shit about conservatives boycotting stuff on Twitter bc I follow a lot of liberal people, but then my conservative friends are like "bro I've never heard of this" and then the same thing happens the other way, like Fox News will be like "Liberals up in arms over..." whatever the fuck and I'll be like "yep never heard anyone complain about this"

So maybe it wasn't actually boycotted and that's just what I heard bc people being outraged about fake outraged is the new thing

I will say, though. I don't dis-watch programs generally because the actor or the show itself leans left, but it is nice having Last Man Standing and Tim Allen on the air. There aren't many right-leaning shows and actors.

There's just not a lot of people in Hollywood that leans right. Roseanne was one of the highest rated shows on ABC. It can draw, just have to want it on your programming. Same thing with Last Man Standing, which is a better example because Roseanne did racist shit, but LMS was still getting good ratings for ABC, and they cancelled it and then Fox swooped in and saved it.

I thought about hating Cruise for five seconds when everyone turned on him in the media and online and then I saw Mission: Impossible again and I was like not gonna do that. Cruise is my man.

Can still hate on him as a person, I don't not watch movies bc of actors personal lives but in the same way I won't change my opinion on them personally bc they have good movies

I love Tom Cruise, though. I enjoy his work too much to even care about him being a Scientologist. He'd have to something more fucked up than have a religion for me to turn on him even for his personal life.
