Fuck, man. That show is all over the place, I'll probably use your review as a template to skip some that MMA/shoot bs. Also I can't stand Mr. Pogo if King Pogo is the same dude

The first two MMA ones that I'm 99% sure were actual shoots lasted like a minute each. Skippable but it was fun seeing young Suzuki

I think the only ones I'd say def watch are the women's matches, the two main events (though the NJPW one was a bit of a letdown), the Cactus/Funk/etc. deathmatch

The Michinoku Pro 6-man was solid as well but not what I was expecting, oh and it's shitty but you gotta watch the Alien Redneck Deathmatch, ya know just for the culture

Naw, I wouldn't skip the Alien Redneck Deathmatch, I'd want to see how bizarre that is

Lou Thesz was in attendance for the show and all I could think about were what his thoughts were at the time

It really was a once in a lifetime show though all things considered. There was an AJPW/WWF supershow from like 1990 that I reviewed most of in that thread as well that was pretty cool but this one blows it out of the water as far as cross-promotion supershows go

Those two comedy spy movies Batista did are great high watches

I think I've seen that one, Chris. I wasn't all that impressed with but WWF 1990 and AJPW are two complete entities. The NJPW/WCW shows were better in those regards
