I ain’t either. I just know I saw a lot of people talking about it a month or so ago. So I just figured it’s probably true. I didn’t care about him even before the Trump stuff, so I didn’t care enough to look into it.

I don't think Kanye ever aligned with Trump much politically. I do think he believes in free thought, and liked seeing an outsider and "underdog" become president, because he probably sees himself in that same light - just in the rap and fashion game. But over the years, he definitely distanced himself from Trump. Mostly used his friendship with him to try to get prison reform done.
