Genres are pretty subjective but it has all the stereotypical things you'd expect from a pure horror movie

The themes in Aliens are probably superior so I probably still prefer Aliens to Alien, but I'm definitely a T1 fan boy these days.

Damn I'm exactly the opposite Smark I prefer Alien to Aliens and T2 to T1, but the gap between Aliens and Alien is close
