Back in the day, Sleepy Eye used to actually be a major rail town and at one time was home to the best flour mill in the nation. Babe Ruth actually came to town and my Grandma's dad is in that photograph. We actually have the original photograph stored in the house.

Nope. It's my home town. Named after Sioux chief Ish-Tak-Ha-Ba or "Sleepy Eye". Met James Monroe and was a principal signee of the Traverse de Sioux. He also helped settlers find Mankato.
