But my downside was always budgeting my money lmao I always tried to start with a promotion that was smaller but had decent financial backing

The few times I've done TEW it's with a real big time company. I don't know what I'd do with a small budgeted promotion.

Taking over smaller companies is fun until you get like two years in and the big promotions poach all your talent and you basically have to start over

It's actually not impossible if you go with the least popular wrestlers in the world and hold one show every three months.
