you have to feed it berries to make it follow you around and it only lasts for a few hours then you have to do it again

but once you make friends with it, it helps you by getting you gifts and helping you catch pokemon

Sadly whoever you use doesn’t follow you around. you see them after you give them a treat but that’s about it

well actually it does follow you around when you feed it, ive had my buddy skipping around my home area for weeks now lol
