Cancel culture is dragging people's histories to find something they did forever ago, using that to start a new campaign against them to get them boycotted by their fans or bosses or get their new promotion cancelled or what have you. Cancel culture has never and will never be having consequences for breaking rules of an establishment you agreed to when you became a member.
