It keeps Millican busy. Each WWE champion gets at least two belts -- one that they travel with and one that's only used for televised events. Each one of Millican's belts is custom-made. The most basic replica belts with three nickel plates and no other adornments cost just under $1,000, but some of the more complex gold-plated designs like those used by WWE can sell for more than $10,000. (Millican declined to disclose exactly what WWE pays for its belts <-- thats what I managed to find about the belt making process.

So it would just cost them for the two belts for the current champion to use. Bc they already make replicas of old designs so that's not new

The replicas most definitely aren't the same version the wrestlers use lol just the same design

again. still gotta pay to have them made. Its still gonna cost either way. I just wonder if the newer designs are actually cheaper than the older designs. I can seem to be able to confirm one way or another.

Not unless they're using higher quality materials, it's the same process to make most every belt regardless of design unless it's a weird one I'd imagine

I want to believe they appear to be cheaper to make than say the old winged wwf belt.

I could believe that, they do seem lazier. The old belts had more details so the labor probably cost more

Especially like the Big Gold Belt and the Winged Eagle title, they had a shit ton of little stuff on them
