The other big change is that you don't assign pushes to your roster anymore...you just use them how you see fit but you also see how the fans perceive them (as a star, unknown, etc.) so that should be a factor in deciding how you use them

That sounds like the same idea, just reworded tbh.

And honestly, I’d rather it just be pushed because I don’t know if I trust TEW to speak for all fans.

Being able to talk to workers about their drug problems and find out if their willing to do high risk stuff or take stunt bumps is really helpful too. Previously you just had to book them to do it and you'd find out they wouldn't when they refused to do it.on the day of the show

Well before you could assign whatever push you want regardless of crowd reaction (you still could tell how they were perceived just not as direct as they tell you on 2020), now you just don't have to assign the push officially. You just use them as you would in whatever push you'd assign.

It just wouldn't be recommended to push someone as a main eventer if the crowd didn't see them as a star yet, you'd need to build them up more first.

I think I like the first way better. Like Kanyon is set to upper mid. I don’t need TEW fans telling me different.

Even if you had him "set" as upper mid the crowd could still like or dislike that in previous games. Now you just don't have to set him officially, you just use him as an upper midcarder
