They cover pretty much every genre that existed at the time and basically made new ones by combining a few

I feel like Led Zeppelin, which is my all time favorite band, was basically in the same camp

Quite different bands but both had some remarkable range

I love Led Zeppelin too, they're in my floating top 10 that probably has about 15 people in it at this point and I never remember how I rank them

The 10 year span of like 1965-1975 is my favorite era of music easily.

Beatles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, shit was insane bro

I respect that. I think memories and shit makes me lean towards the last decade as my favorite. Cause I had that experience of being hype waiting for the albums and hearing them with my friends and shit.

I don't really rate shit compared to "all-time" stuff until they've been out for at least 5 years for that reason lol my opinions vary wildly in either direction for a bit

But... yeah. The 60s and 70s had fantastic music. 80s was a slump for me, at least in terms of rock music. And then 90s was fire again. 2000s rock and pop was a mixed bag, rap to me didn't have much depth. 2010s fire rap, not so good pop and rock, but good indie shit too though.

I agree, I have stuff from the 80s I love as well but I'd rank the decade as a slump just bc I prefer the decades before and after more
