Another thing I hate about Tables matches while we're on that is the rules are inconsistent bc most of the time it's "your opponent has to put you through the table" so that's how they'd get away with guys like the Hardyz missing dives and going through the tables but the matches not ending, but I remember that one time Big Show accidentally stepped on the table and it broke and he lost

They did that in the Rumble too when Macho fucked up and jumped over the top rope when he wasn't supposed to be eliminated in 92, they said an opponent had to throw you over for it to count...but I think they've ignored that since and we've had multiple times afterwards of guys eliminating themselves

Thought I guess that one could just be kayfabe explained by WWE just refining the Rumble rules more since it was still young in 92 just like it took them a bit to finally settle on 90 seconds between entrants
