Brand exclusive PPVs are only a problem if the brands themselves can't stand on their own. If they can't, it's not the PPVs that are the problem. The OG split had exclusive PPVs until they basically diluted it in 2008. That first 2002-2007 Ruthless Aggression Era split was fantastic, though.

The fucking Saudi shows are always just a huge distraction. But at least the last one was used to set things up at Mania.

USA did, yes. But tbh 2012-2015 Raw is the best years Raw produced after it went back to USA and that was when they went three-hours so three hours isn't a problem if the product is good.

Yeah but now they're in too deep with that shit. Although Raw has recently turned things around (at least pre-PC tapings) but for a long time I would have just begged for them to cut it back to 2 hours because it was so much filler and so much repetition. Running rematches like crazy because you have to fill time.

Heyman was 100% making Raw good again. I hope that isn't fucked now with the shit in array.

I'll still take a strong 2 hours over a strong 3 hours when it comes to weekly shows, I think.

I would agree in principal, but tbh for the health of my company I'm watching I'd take the 3 over 2 if the shows are good because that extra hour is serious ad money. A lot of people forget to mention this, but one of the main reasons WCW lost $60 million in 2000 and not (% like they did in 1999 is because Russo stupidly asked to have the third hour dropped and it killed the ad money they were bringing in.

USA probably wouldn't pay the insane money they give WWE if they scaled back either.

I mean I guess that's a gamble you take. If you think dropping the third hour can improve the product and maybe bring customers back, you might take that chance at the risk of losing ad money. But I guess the absolute best thing would be to just get better and make an entertaining 3 hour show.
