Not sure I buy that's how it works. Some people would rather run it into the ground than sell. Take ECW for example.

Yeah owners have different traits. Some are more controlling. And then some will be isolationists, while others are more friendly. So like if your owner is an isolationist, they'll block you from setting up working relationships with other companies and shit.

And then of course some are frugal and some are careless with money, which will determine whether they let you offer big contracts or not.

One of the main reasons WCW was even sold is because Bischoff begged AOL to lt him buy it after he quit WCW following BATB and had WWF not already won the right of first refusal because of a previous lawsuit, things might have been different.
