That's modified PHP code and you don't need it on the open forum. That's tell an open website how to color and space things, but the BB Code on the open forum can do all that for you.

not sure why it didn't work...but I have no clue how to make it work here like it does on proboards. It's likely a proboards thing due to their forum plugins

Most forums don't allow PHP because they don't need to. You can space and color on the forum without using PHP code.
