This sin't even just about family and friends, though. How many colleges had riots because a liberal was goign to speak at the campus? How many terrorist organisations are defended by mainstream news outlets after they've attacked people for wearing hats (ANTIFA). No one should lose anyone over a political opinion and I understand your plight. Where you lose me is when you try to insinuate the division is the same. If I wore a Sanders shit, I'll never be attacked or inslted at all. If I bought a MAGA hat it'll only take two hours.

But I feel where you're coming from Smark, same reason I felt like "All Lives Matter" was making light of the "Black Lives Matter" movement. We don't gotta compare our politcal oppression, just feel like you still don't get what it's like in the deep south lol. I couldn't imagine wearing my Bernie shirt in town here, like if someone saw me from work it'd cause all kinds of problems. All the other managers do at my job before work starts is talk about Trump and they'll ask me stuff and I'll just nod bc I know my opinions would cause problems with a few of them.
