It's not like the CDC, WHO, or American Government did any better at handling this unmitigated disaster, btw. CDC didn't even *attempt* to produce any resources or ask for help in identifying and creating tests to check for the disease, WHO called it a pandemic despite the recovery rate of the disease being exponentially higher than the mortality rate, and the American government shutting down literally everything.

Exactly, I was talking about this just the other day: The flu kills on average 12,000 people annually at the very minimum. Only 4,000 people have died from COVID-19. Not only that, people are shedding the disease like the common cold. It may be more infectious than the Spanish Flu, let's not debate that, because the infectiousness of the disease is probably the greatest threat, but the disease burns itself out at an astronomical rate.

Of course you hear news of people being discharged from the hospital after beating coronavirus only to die shortly afterwards, but that has more to do with the fact that the coronavirus specifically attacks the respiratory and immune system; it leaves people susceptible to Pneumonia.
