The issue is Starlight Kid was booked HORRIBLY last year. Like despite her being one of the top merch movers, she lost a lot last year. And not like "Losing for a storyline." just ate a lot of pins. Then in the Five star, she only got one pinfall win in the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT.

Four points total, only getting the other two because of Saya being injured

Then she got injured and wasn't able to have her last match in the tournament against Mayu Iwatani

As of late she has been stepping up a bit, had a title match for the White belt, made it to the Quarters of the Cinderella Tournament (Basically their version of the NJ Cup, except winner also gets to wear a pretty dress!) only losing to the eventual winner, and Tam is apparently trying to recruit her for her own faction, so things are improving.

And if she'd leave Oedo Tai, could be a way to regain momentum, tweak her character, or if she soundly rejects Tam, she's in a storyline with the former champ

Oedo Tai has been the main heel group in Stardom for years. Founded by Hana Kimura's mom (RIP Hana), probably it's peak was when Kagetsu was leader. Genuine final boss energy. Sadly due in part due to injury, Kagetsu retired in 2020. Though we later found out HE transitioned to male, so all the love to him. Natsuko Tora became leader and it's been hit and miss. Had to find an identity for a while and now it is sort of the rebels of Stardom, and it features a lot of young up and coming wrestlers like Rina, Momo Watanabe, and of course SLK.

And much of the group joined due to betrayal of another. Like Momo leaving Queen's Quest despite being the leader, tired of the responsibility and pressure of it, and SLK being forced out of Stars and into OT due to a match stip, only to eventually embrace the darkness and when Mayu won her freedom, she rejected the chance to leave.

Honestly that whole storyline and Kid becoming High Speed champ made me a fan of her. And I think my frustration with the booking at times comes because during that time, Tora was injured and was out for over a year. So SLK sort of became the star of OT and unofficial leader during it, especially once Konami took a hiatus too. She really rose in popularity and showed herself as someone to watch. But then Rossy started to depush her hard once Tora came back. Similar with Momo despite also having popularity. He played favourites which, hey, a lot of his favs were also awesome, but it was frustrating. She stepped up when a featured performer came down with injury and even if you don't want to push her to be a world champ or whatever, especially since she's still young and maybe others are due too, sure. But still give her a half decent place, give her some chances to prove herself more.
