can't tell if you joking or nah......because if you not, what woukd srop that game developer from doing NBA games and use them without having to pay because they sold their likeness off for $600 and a free game.

oh no dead serious they are getting $600 and a copy of the game. NBA has a union and the game developers pay the union for the rights to use the players. There are players who opt out of that (Michael Jordan wasn't in any games after like 1993).

NCAA games stopped happening because of lawsuits. They never used the actual players, just had the position and name. But it was 100% the actual players. NCAA lost lawsuits about the games and EA was like we don't want none of that so they quit making the game. Now the kids make money out of it so they are bringing the game back.
