yeah that’s because despite fans comparing ratings to where they think they should be 800,000 is still a high number that advertisers are willing to pay for.

I kind of wish regular television shows with disclose what their TV rights fees because if you look at a show like Grey’s Anatomy that’s on it’s like 20th season I think and they still do like 6 to 8,000,000 viewers a week. That show has to be making fucking ridiculous money.

I do think it would be healthier if you had at least four national companies on television and then a tiered indie system also thriving.
