But at some point I quit keeping up with current and started reading a lot of classic full series instead

I bought the first compendium of Ultimate Spider-Man which was kind of a waste because it was $125 and all of the issues are on marvel unlimited.

And to think my dad owned some first print Spider-Man comics but gave them away to some of his colleagues' kids

They'd be worth a fortune today

I have a bunch of trades and single issues at my parents house in a closet that i wouldn't mind selling but i have no idea what they are worth.

there's a shop i go to that will take them but they'll just be like, "ok all of this comes to $75" and I'll have no idea if they are screwing me or if its fair.

it's mostly modern issues that were when i was actively reading so i doubt its worth much of anything.

Check eBay and what price people ask for

That's how I usually decide the average price for the steelbooks I sell

I'll probably just trust them because otherwise i'll have to deal with selling each individual one myself and i'm lazy

i've had nothing but issues with selling on eBay

electronics especially.

I mostly buy stuff there and it always goes well
