Probably, I might set them as they were, a small indy company with decent finances from Gordon, but no real stars.Hoss Alexander said:Also ECW isn't one of the four big promotions he's referencing. Personally I would imagine ECW would be set up in the game in a way that they'll struggle financially and maybe end up dying, as in real life, or at most remain an indie company.
So AWA's on a national deal with ESPN, and USWA is currently on SHOWTIME.Hoss Alexander said:I don't know the specifics of how AWA and USWA are supposed to become on par with the other two
yeah. Grim better give us itHoss Alexander said:Personally I hope to play this mod someday
I thought Vince dies in 1992 in your game? If that's the case it's way too late for that.Bobby Barrows said:AWA and USWA largely survive and strive because A.) WrestleMania and WWF aren't as successful as they are in real life, and many of the territories don't get bought out by Vince, but the other companies, and B.) Watts and Verne don't come into financial issues, thus are able to better retain talent or hire better talent.
It's an alternate timeline lol, Vince is still alive in the 80s lmfaoLance Storm said:I thought Vince dies in 1992 in your game? If that's the case it's way too late for that.
So in this reality WM1 did not succeed? Cause I thought you were starting in 1992 and if that's the case WWF would be in full force, and AWA would be dead.Bobby Barrows said:It's an alternate timeline lol, Vince is still alive in the 80s lmfao
I dunno how I can lay it out any further lol, WWF is successful, but not nearly as successful as they were in real life. Mania is a success and everything, but Vince doesn't rake in the funds he does IRL. This leaves him unable to hoard as much talent as he can, while Bill Watts isn't forced to close because of the Oklahoma oil crash, and Verne nets a more profitable ESPN deal, and gets talents like Randy Savage.Lance Storm said:So in this reality WM1 did not succeed?
