I never got around to getting a PS1 Classic because I have everything on PC set up. I'd be tempted if they ever dropped a PS2 one though.

especially that PS2 emus still run weird even on the most baller of PCs

I've found Survvial Horror games to run really well on PS2 emulator. Silent Hill 2, RE4 have never dropped frames once. It's nice.
